Cobalt and Gray

This skirt is too big for me.  It was too big last time I wore it and (fingers crossed) it’ll probably be too big in the future.  It is, however, a gorgeous color:

I love cobalt and it is very hard for me to resist buying items in this shade.  Hence my thrifting this too big skirt.  But, I think it’s a testament to how much I love cobalt that I not only thrifted this skirt, I actually wear it.  Not a lot, because it’s not great for bike riding, but enough that my cost per wear is pretty low.

Today, I wore the skirt (Neiman Marcus) with a gray tee (Target), a thin red belt (Nordstrom Rack) and nude sandals (Banana Republic “Natalie”).  And I liked it with these pieces.  But, the fact remains that it’s too big.

So, does it stay or does it go?  Let me know in the comments below if I should keep the skirt and have it altered, or if I should give it up.

Thanks for your help, Folks!  And Happy Thursday!

P.S. I'm also linked up over at my blogger friend Callie's blog, Coffee and Cardigans, for Thrifter Thursday where she thrifted some adorable purple shorts.  Seriously, so cute.  Just like Callie.
